Jaeger Cashmere Vest
80's but absolutely timeless. Great length and style of vest by Jaeger in super soft black 100% cashmere.
Jaeger was established in 1883 by Lewis Tomalin, a London businessman who believed in the health benefits of wearing only animal fiber clothing as advocated by a German doctor, Gustav Jaeger. Tomalin acquired the rights to Jaeger’s name and imported clothing from Germany. After five years, he began manufacturing the clothing in Britain.
Jaeger stopped the health aspect of their line and went for fashion. They used only wool until the 50's.
This vest was purchased at Harrod's in London.
